HPDs reduce high-pressure gas (up to 150 psi) to near atmospheric pressure, allowing particle counters to function correctly without damaging sensitive flow-metering systems.

Versatility Across Gases and Applications

Compatible with non-toxic, inert gases like Clean Dry Air (CDA), nitrogen, argon, and CO₂, making HPDs suitable for semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and clean manufacturing environments.

Economical Monitoring

Allows the use of standard atmospheric particle counters for pressurized gas monitoring, avoiding the need for dedicated high-pressure instruments—significantly reducing cost for occasional or trend monitoring
