FMS PC-based Logic Description
This architecture is composed of two layers:
- Ā Sensors in the field
- Ā PC with software to control:
- Ā Interface
- Data storage
- Ā Logic to manage sensors and data (alarms, warning, etc.)
The ābrainā of the system is PC PharmNet, which is designed with this approach.
Industrial Automation Design FMS
This architecture is composed of three layers:

- PLC/DC to:
- Perform logic
- Manage data (alarm, warning, etc.)
- Industrial software to control:
- Interface
- Data storage
