Compressed Gas Contamination Monitoring

Type:

Compressed gases are viewed as critical utilities in many industries, whether in direct product contact or used in the greater cleanroom environment.

Control of the environment in which Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, and Cosmetic and Personal Care products are manufactured is a key element of ISO and GMP Standards worldwide.  In the Electronics industry, contamination control directly impacts yield. The absence of viable and non-viable contamination is considered a critical quality attribute due to its potential to dramatically impact the safety, efficacy and yield of the product being manufactured.

Particle Measuring Systems offers 2 choices for monitoring viable and non viable contamination in compressed gases:

Viable Contamination Monitoring: The Compressed Gas Kit for monitoring viable contamination in gases is uniquely small and lightweight. Use it as a flexible accessory to the MiniCapt® Mobile sampler to monitor for viable organisms in gases in any location around your facility.

Key features:

  • Compact Dimensions: (h, w, d) 8.5 x 6 x 4 in
  • Lightweight: 4.1 lb (1.86 kg)
  • Measures gases with pressures of 0.5 to 10 bar (7.2 – 145 psi)
  • Can be used with Clean Dry Air (CDA), argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide or other non-toxic inert gases
  • Easy to set up and use

Non Viable Contamination Monitoring: For monitoring non viable particulate in a variety of compressed gasses, use the High Pressure Diffuser III (HPD III) with the Lasair III family of products to ensure an ultra-clean environment and improve your product quality and yield today.

Key features:

  • Measures gases from 25 to 100 psi (60 to 100 psi for 100LPM)
  • Can be used with Clean Dry Air, Argon, Nitrogen, or other non-toxic inert gases
  • Four versions for 0.1 CFM, 1.0 CFM, 50 LPM, and 100 LPM flow rates
  • Low contamination, < 5% of ISO Class I or II cleanliness
  • No external flow meters needed

It is our goal at Particle Measuring Systems to help you effectively control contamination in your critical environments. We have the following solutions to meet your compressed gas monitoring needs. Contact us today for more information.
