Products
Our comprehensive line of microcontamination monitors enables users to monitor and qualify contaminants. Specific particle counting applications include cleanroom monitoring, aerosol research spectrometers, parenteral sampling, filter and in-line testing in DI water and process chemicals, and point-of-use monitoring of inert gases.

Particle Measuring Systems also offers a complete line of molecular contamination monitors for airborne contamination in high tech applications as well as surface contamination monitors for semiconductor applications.

Services
We offer a complete line of testing, training, and consulting services to help meet your contamination monitoring needs. Our expertise is available to find contamination sources, test the cleanliness of parts, characterize processes, or to monitor cleanrooms.

History
Particle Measuring Systems was established in 1972 by Dr. Robert Knollenberg, whose emphasis on elite technology drove our engineers to be the first to detect .05 µm particles in air and deionized water, as well as .065 µm particles in chemicals. In January 1996, Particle Measuring Systems became a member of Spectris plc. In February 2004, we acquired Molecular Analytics, the leading edge scientific, engineering, and production firm with more than 15 years experience in ion mobility spectroscopy.
