Setting up an on line sensor in SamplerSight or SamplerSight-Pharmaceutical is very simple. First, from your Windows Start button go to All Programs – Particle Measuring and select SamplerSight – Select Instrument. For SamplerSight-Pharmaceutical it would be SamplerSight-Pharma – Select Instrument.
Once the Select Instrument dialog box comes up, press the drop-down button and select Sensor: RS-485. Press OK. This will allow you to directly interface to a sensor without an intermediary sampler.
Once SamplerSight has completed opening select Configure – Instrument from the main menu bar. In the next dialog select Configure from the menu bar and select the appropriate sensor from the drop down list. Then set the appropriate COM Port and Sensor address and press OK to get back to the main screen. Now you can configure recipes and run samples as normal.
