New Airborne Particle Counter Provides Flexibility While Meeting and Exceeding Data Integrity Requirements
May 12, 2021, Boulder, CO – Particle Measuring Systems (PMS) announces the release of the new Lasair® Pro Airborne Particle Counter. Leveraging the engineering of its flagship Lasair III particle counter, this newest addition to the PMS fleet supports a variety of applications including clean area monitoring (portable and remote) and classification while meeting international cleanroom certification standards.
“For over 45 years Particle Measuring Systems has been at the forefront of technology to meet the ever-increasing demands for cleanroom environmental monitoring”, said Brian Knollenberg, Chief Technology Officer at PMS. He continued, “We build instruments to last. Lasair Pro is reliable, resilient, and designed to meet increasing Data Integrity and regulatory requirements. The Lasair Pro has integrated audit trail capabilities to help assure the efficacy and integrity of data.“
Providing the user with high flexibility, all sampling activities can be programmed and managed locally or remotely. The collected data is securely saved and transferred meeting Data Integrity related standards such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11. The instrument can store up to 10,000 data samples. The flexibility of this unit continues with its ability to configure up to 100 users on each instrument or use the NFC card capabilities for unlimited users.
