Starting as a research and development scientist when he joined Particle Measuring Systems in 1995, Mr. Mitchell discovered that he enjoyed working with customers to solve their problems. As a result, he became more involved in the commercial aspects of the business. After holding positions at the company in various other capacities, Mr. Mitchell was appointed president of Particle Measuring Systems. He has written and presented more than 25 technical papers around the world and is the inventor or co-inventor on 10 patents. Outside of work, Mr. Mitchell enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
Mr. Milburn joined Particle Measuring Systems as Chief Operating Officer in September 2018 and is responsible for the company’s Finance and IT functions as well as Manufacturing and Service. For over 15 years, Mr. Milburn has held various Senior level positions within the operating companies of Spectris Inc., our parent company, which include; CFO of Omega, GM Electronic Division at Omega, Vice President of Finance and Operations at Microscan, Global Controller for Intermec Technologies, and Senior Auditor for Masco Corporation. Mr. Milburn holds a BBA in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University, a MBA from the University of Phoenix, and is a Certified Management Accountant. Outside of work Mr. Milburn enjoys spending time with his family, running, and outdoor activities with his two Jack Russell's.
Mr. Knollenberg provides performance-leading solutions to the microelectronics, display and industrial sectors. In his more than 15 years at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Knollenberg has held a variety of technology and leadership roles in product development, global applications and general management. In addition to his experience at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Knollenberg has held marketing and business leadership positions in the thin film vacuum process equipment industry. Mr. Knollenberg is actively involved in several nonprofit organizations. Prior to his professional career, he served with the United States Army. When not at work, he spends time in the mountains hiking, fishing and spending time with family.
Mrs. Simonsen joined Particle Measuring Systems in 2011 with a diverse supply chain background in industries like information technology (IT), chemicals and medical devices. Mrs. Simonsen brings her depth of knowledge regarding customer service and quality assurance to the PMS Nordic team. She uses her experience to support her team and solve customer problems in even the most challenging markets. She has an M.A from the University of Amsterdam, Holland. When not at PMS Mrs. Simonsen enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her family and friends, eating great food and reading.
At Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Scialò appreciates a working environment built on fairness and trust. Before joining Particle Measuring Systems, he held positions as CEO at Biotrace MicroSafe, managing director at Biotrace International in the pharmaceutical division and founder and CEO of MicroSafe. With a degree in Biology, Mr. Scialò’s post-graduate training includes business administration, marketing management and resources management. Outside of work, Mr. Scialò enjoys spending time with his family, particularly his grandson, and cooking.
Mr. Gromala has worked in a variety of roles during his more than 14 years with Particle Measuring Systems, including western sales manager, applications engineering manager and director of service. In his current position, he enjoys corporate strategy development and implementation with a focus on technology and intellectual property creation. Mr. Gromala’s career spans more than 25 years in the field of lasers and electro-optic technology, and he holds degrees in Engineering and Business. Outside of work, Mr. Gromala enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, playing the guitar and reading history books.
Mr. Schindler is an analytical manufacturing leader focused on customer orientation and continuous improvement processes. He has worked for Particle Measuring Systems since 2006 and has nearly 17 years of experience in service operations from his previous leadership position as vice president of service center operations for Micro Motion, Inc. He has done graduate studies in Business from the University of Colorado and has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University. Outside of work, Mr. Schindler enjoys spending time with his family and training and hunting with bird dogs.
At Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Su helps secure safe pharmaceuticals for consumers in China, Hong Kong and Macao. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, reading, swimming and spending time with his family.
Mr. Davis joined Particle Measuring Systems in 2015 to lead the global Application Engineering team. In his current position, he is responsible for creating, executing and improving after sales support solutions. In addition to his experience at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Davis has held product line manager and product development roles in the thin film vacuum process equipment industry. Mr. Davis holds post graduate degrees in Business and Engineering. Outside of work, Mr. Davis enjoys spending time with his family, cross country ski racing and downhill skiing.
Mr. Kibe joined Particle Measuring Systems in April 2017 and is responsible for the company’s Legal function, while also serving as the Global Ethics Officer. Mr. Kibe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the United States Military Academy and has his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law. Mr. Kibe served in the United States Army and worked in sales prior to law school. He has practiced law for the last 15 years with 3 years being spent at a law firm in Denver and the 11 years prior to joining Particle Measuring Systems supporting two Fortune 250 companies as in-house counsel. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports and enjoying the outdoors.
Claudio started his career as a high school chemistry teacher, but has spent the last twenty-three years working at a variety of companies including CaRli (a company he founded), MicroSafe (a business in which he was a shareholder), and BioTrace MicroSafe. Most recently he served as the Operations, Sales and General Manager for Particle Measuring Systems’ Italian subsidiary office before becoming the EMEA director.
