Starting as a research and development scientist when he joined Particle Measuring Systems in 1995, Mr. Mitchell discovered that he enjoyed working with customers to solve their problems. As a result, he became more involved in the commercial aspects of the business. After holding positions at the company in various other capacities, Mr. Mitchell was appointed president of Particle Measuring Systems. He has written and presented more than 25 technical papers around the world and is the inventor or co-inventor on 10 patents. Outside of work, Mr. Mitchell enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
Mr. Milburn joined Particle Measuring Systems as Chief Operating Officer in September 2018 and is responsible for the company’s Finance and IT functions as well as Manufacturing and Service. For over 15 years, Mr. Milburn has held various Senior level positions within the operating companies of Spectris Inc., our parent company, which include; CFO of Omega, GM Electronic Division at Omega, Vice President of Finance and Operations at Microscan, Global Controller for Intermec Technologies, and Senior Auditor for Masco Corporation. Mr. Milburn holds a BBA in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and is a Certified Management Accountant. Outside of work Mr. Milburn enjoys spending time with his family, running, and outdoor activities with his two Jack Russell's.
Mr. Knollenberg provides performance-leading solutions to the microelectronics, display and industrial sectors. In his more than 15 years at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Knollenberg has held a variety of technology and leadership roles in product development, global applications and general management. In addition to his experience at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Knollenberg has held marketing and business leadership positions in the thin film vacuum process equipment industry. Mr. Knollenberg is actively involved in several nonprofit organizations. Prior to his professional career, he served with the United States Army. When not at work, he spends time in the mountains hiking, fishing and spending time with family.
Mr. Gromala has worked in a variety of roles during his more than 14 years with Particle Measuring Systems, including western sales manager, applications engineering manager and director of service. In his current position, he enjoys corporate strategy development and implementation with a focus on technology and intellectual property creation. Mr. Gromala’s career spans more than 25 years in the field of lasers and electro-optic technology, and he holds degrees in Engineering and Business. Outside of work, Mr. Gromala enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, playing the guitar and reading history books.
Bill Su joined PMS in June 2008; for several years he held senior level positions in China such as General Manager, Director at APAC and is currently VP of Sales & Marketing. Bill's main responsibility is to manage and develop Sales & Marketing for the organization. Prior to working at PMS, Bill was a Sales Director at ABB and General Manager at Honeywell in China. Bill completed a bachelor degree of industry automation and MBA from Hong Kong University. In his spare time, Bill enjoys reading and playing tennis.
Ms. Nasta joined Particle Measuring Systems in January 2019 as Vice President of Human Resources. Her background in strategic planning, cultural transformation, compensation programs, benefits and rewards, and organizational development spans multiple business sectors, settings, and industries including leadership experience at Wells Fargo, Shell Oil, Noodles & Company and Rocky Mountain Institute. Ms. Nasta holds Bachelor’s degrees in English and Business and an MBA from the University of South Dakota. Outside of work, Ms. Nasta enjoys staying active with her three kids and dog, trail running, and traveling.
Mr. Kibe joined Particle Measuring Systems in April 2017 and is responsible for the company’s Global Legal, Ethics and Compliance functions. Mr. Kibe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the United States Military Academy and has his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law. Mr. Kibe served in the United States Army and worked in sales prior to law school. He has practiced law for the last 16 years with 3 years being spent at a law firm in Denver and the 10 years prior to joining Particle Measuring Systems supporting two Fortune 250 companies as in-house counsel. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and spending time outdoors.
Claudio started his career as a high school chemistry teacher, but has spent the last twenty-three years working at a variety of companies including CaRli (a company he founded), MicroSafe (a business in which he was a shareholder), and BioTrace MicroSafe. Most recently he served as the Operations, Sales and General Manager for Particle Measuring Systems’ Italian subsidiary office before becoming the EMEA director.
