Starting as a research and development scientist when he joined Particle Measuring Systems in 1995, Mr. Mitchell discovered that he enjoyed working with customers to solve their problems. As a result, he became more involved in the commercial aspects of the business. After holding positions at the company in various other capacities, Mr. Mitchell was appointed president of Particle Measuring Systems. He has written and presented more than 25 technical papers around the world and is the inventor or co-inventor on 10 patents. Outside of work, Mr. Mitchell enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
Vice President & General Manager
Mr. Knollenberg provides performance-leading solutions to the microelectronics, display and industrial sectors. In his more than 15 years at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Knollenberg has held a variety of technology and leadership roles in product development, global applications and general management. In addition to his experience at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Knollenberg has held marketing and business leadership positions in the thin film vacuum process equipment industry. Mr. Knollenberg is actively involved in several nonprofit organizations. Prior to his professional career, he served with the United States Army. When not at work, he spends time in the mountains hiking, fishing and spending time with family.
Dan Rodier, Ph.D.
Technology Development Manager
Dr. Rodier has a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Colorado and has over 23 years of experience developing and implementing technologies and strategies to measure airborne molecular species and particulate contamination. Dr. Rodier has four patents for microcontamination monitoring technologies. He has worked with customers across Asia, Europe and North America to implement monitoring programs in the semiconductor, aerospace, hard disk drive and flat panel display industries.

Global Pharma GMP Advisor
Lisa G. Lawson has over 25 years’ experience in supporting large and small pharmaceutical companies in contamination control, including cleaning and disinfection strategies, aseptic manufacturing and use of risk-based approaches to microbiological quality challenges. She spent 16 years working for Amgen in microbial and mammalian cell culture manufacturing support and helped gain commercial FDA and internatonal regulatory approval of the EPO/NESP manufacturing facility in Longmont, CO.
Global Applications Engineering Manager
Mr. Davis leads a global team of applications engineers to help our customers integrate PMS systems into their processes to solve their various applications needs. Mr. Davis comes to Particle Measuring Systems with a background in thin film processing for the storage, display and optics industries.
Product Line Manager, Liquid and airborne molecular contamination (AMC)
Up until working at Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Dillenbeck has worked in the semiconductor process industry for over 25 years for several semiconductor capital equipment and process system suppliers. Some of his industry expertise from working at Kinetics Process Systems, Air Liquide Electronics and Ashland Chemical Company. While at PMS, Mr. Dillenbeck places a lot of emphasis on direct customer interactions and determining their product needs. When not working, Keith and his wife enjoy gourmet cooking, beer brewing and camping.
Global Product Line Manager Systems and Software
Paul Hartigan has been involved in product management, engineering development and marketing for over 25 years. He has held a variety of product management positions covering most PMS products over his last 8 years with PMS. His background includes work for a variety of instrumentation companies serving pharmaceutical, oil and gas industry, industrial manufacturing, utilities, and municipal water industries. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology as well as a MBA in Marketing. He has published numerous application papers as well as presenting at seminars around the world.
Life Sciences Division
David Crance is the Life Sciences Sales Manager for Particle Measuring Systems and has been in the Life Sciences business for over 30 years. He has lectured for pharmaceutical societies and organizations throughout the USA and Asia on environmental monitoring systems and their cGMP regulations. He has been an Instructor at the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland for the last fourteen years. David has been involved in the design and implementation of almost 500 environmental monitoring systems. In his role as Life Sciences Sales Manager, he works with leading engineering firms and manufacturers in the designing of Environmental monitoring systems.
Product Line Manager, Aerosol and Gas
Steven Rowley has extensive experience in microelectronic and clean process manufacturing industries, beginning his career at Texas Instruments as a yield enhancement engineer. For the past 14 years, he has worked in product management and business development positions. Mr. Rowley has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a MBA from the University of Colorado. He has published articles and spoken at global manufacturing conferences on the subject of contamination monitoring and control. Outside of work, he can be found spending time with his family hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park or bicycling the local foothills.
Senior Global Applications Engineer
Prior to coming to Particle Measuring Systems, Mr. Kochevar worked as a seismographic engineer in the oil exploration industry and also designed hardware and firmware for the video gaming industry. Some of his contributions while at PMS include working with customers’ diverse applications and determining how to integrate PMS systems into their processes. Outside of work, Mr. Kochevar spends time with loved ones, practices photography and plays with his dog, Fritz Von Fangenstein.
Mr. Sanchez is a Colorado native who prior to joining PMS in 2015, worked at Intel Corporation for 10 years. The majority of his experience at Intel came within the Fab’s Yield Department as a Microcontamination Engineer and Metrology Tool owner, additionally he worked as a Capacity Planning Industrial Engineer at Intel’s Substrates Packaging Test and Development Site start up. Mr. Sanchez earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder, a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering as well as a Master of Business Administration Degree at Arizona State University. In his free time Isidro enjoys spending time learning from his son, going on outdoor adventures, cross training, reading, and exploring practical philosophies.
Senior Applications Engineer
Mr. Beal previously worked as a manufacturing technician for a company making ultrasonic breast scanners that detected cysts. After many years with Particle Measuring Systems, he focuses on helping customers overcome their most difficult particle monitoring challenges and finding ways to meet their requirements. Mr. Beal pursues additional passions like sailing and scuba diving in oceans around the world.

Americas Business Manager
Eric Gottlieb has been working with pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing companies for over 14 years, specializing in monitoring systems, quality assurance and validation. Currently Americas Business Manager for Particle Measuring Systems Life Sciences Division, he has played an active part in the GMP-compliant design and implementation of dozens of environmental monitoring systems from risk assessment through system validation.
