Smoke Studies in cleanrooms allow the visualization of critical airflow in your facility. In an effort to understand and improve the airflow in your clean area better or for troubleshooting purposes, our team has pioneered a state-of-the-art >360 degree Visualization Smoke Study. Our team of technical and consulting experts helps you identify inconsistencies and problems and provides you with actionable data ready to help you support the contamination control goals in your clean area.
The fundamental purpose of smoke studies is to make cleanroom air flows visible. The low-turbulence range is of particular interest. Within a low-turbulence range, structures such as machines, etc., frequently lead to flow deflection and unintentional turbulence.
Smoke Studies use a mist generator, which produces a heavy, saturated mist free of all toxins. This mist is applied to the air inlet under examination and the resulting flow pattern is recorded by means of digital video or a photographic camera. The film material is then processed into a video and complemented by an extensive report.
