Lasair III Particle Counter
Question
When performing a room-qualification for 0.5 micron as well as for 5 um particles: In order to avoid doing it twice - one should do it at once at 5 um. Correct?
Answer

You should monitor particles with your particle counter at the largest size required. For pharmaceutical applications you should chose the ISO/GMP particle counter certification specification that allows for both to be done simultaneously. If you do not have the ISO/GMP selection, then an upgrade to your firmware is required.
