Question
What are the environmental conditions and calibration parameters for particle counter APSS 200 liquid sampler?
Answer

The environmental conditions must meet temperatures between 4-40° C and humidity between 0-95% (non-condensing). Other parameters/specifications include:

  • The instrument size range is 2-125 um
  • The instrument samples 100% of the fluid (and particles) passing through the instrument
  • The instrument is calibrated every year
  • The maximum particle concentration is 10,000 (cumulative) particles per mL
  • The instrument should only sample particles in deionized water
  • Calibrations are performed to standards from NIST, ISO 4402 and ASTM-F658
