Question
Where in my facility should I place aerosol particle counters to ensure I am effectively monitoring?
Answer

The ISO recommendations differ from the obsolete FS-209 specifications. Specifically, ISO recommends monitoring as close to critical processes as possible. Often, this means the sample probe is placed at work height (where product is being processed) and only in those areas where product quality may be affected by the environmental conditions. However, ISO does not offer any requirements or specifications - only recommendations.
