Since the 9/2003 EU regulatory changes, pharmaceutical manufacturers have been required to take larger, more time-consuming samples. Where one cubic foot was adequate for portable particle monitoring, now one cubic meter is required per zone; the sample that took one minute now takes 35 minutes.

The LASAIR II 550L reduces these increased labor costs by using the higher flow rate of 50 LPM, thus sampling one cubic meter in only 20 minutes. The software walks the user through the process of EU GMP sampling, then automatically generates a full final report.
