Particle Measuring Systems introduces the APSS-2000 automated parenteral sampling system

BOULDER, CO - November 16, 2009 - Particle Measuring Systems announced this week the introduction of the APSS-2000 for particle testing in parenteral drug samples and water for injection (WFI). The system meets and exceeds all requirements of the USP, EP and JP for particle testing in injections and includes pre-defined sampling recipes for fast and simple operation. Benefits of the new APSS-2000 include the versatile luer style connectors, a one-piece enclosure that is easy to clean and an optional ultrasonic generator for sample degassing. The luer style connectors allow utilization of standard pharmaceutical needles or tubing for the sample inlet. The APSS-2000 incorporates SamplerSight-Pharma software with an easy-to-use interface providing on-screen data and alarms. Batch reports are quickly generated along with 21 CFR 11 compliant electronic records. Included standard is a Validation Notebook providing comprehensive software documentation and full IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
