The accuracy of the calibration for volumetric particle counters is dependant only on the sizing accuracy. Verification that the sizing accuracy is correct ensures that the counting accuracy will be correct. Particle sizing accuracy for volumetric particle counters can be verified by observing particle counts when introducing PSLs (of the appropriate size) for the channel threshold being evaluated. This spreadsheet can be used to verify sizing accuracy for the LiQuilaz particle counters. It is important when collecting this data to set one of the channels at the EXACT size of the particle being measured.
