General Information

Facility Net has the capability to run Statistics reports via a job on sample points and groups. These jobs can be set to trigger off from Alarm, Time or Value. The Statistic Options section of this document provides detailed explanation of selectable statistic options to report for the Sample Points or Groups the user selects. To set up a statistic job in

Facility Net, follow the directions below.

Steps to Configure a Statistic Job

  1. In Facility Net, go to Configure/Jobs to access Job Configuration screen
  2. Click on the Add button
  3. For Job Type, select Statistics or Group Stats (for statistics on groups)
  4. Select the trigger of Alarm, Time or Value and configure as needed (each type brings up needed fields for the specific trigger - Time example is below). Note: Filter Sample Point Option - Permits filtering by the value of a text sample point for data retrieval in statistics reports. This feature was added in Version 3.0 Service Pack 5.
  5. Click on the Configure button to access the Statistic Report Configuration screen
  6. Under Groups tab, select the specific samples (or groups) the statistics will be generated on
  7. Under the Statistic Selection tab, use the "Statistic Options" section of this document to identify what functions to select for the report; click to select each of the functions (see example below)
  8. Click OK button to save configuration settings for job
  9. Click OK button to save individual job definition
  10. Click OK button to save all changes in job configuration
