質問
Is it possible to perform in line particle counting in a emulsion when passing through a pipe at 450 litres / minute?
回答

All particle counters must have fluid flow at their rated calibration flow rate. Passing fluid through the particle counter at flow rates exceeding the calibrated flow will cause the instrument to report particle size and concentration inaccurately. There are currently no particle counters on the market that have a flow rate in excess of 1-liter/minute; however this does not limit the ability to measure in high volume applications. You can simply tee off the main line and connect this lower flow rate to the particle counter. It is usually necessary to provide some type of flow controller down stream of the particle counter to regulate the flow within the calibration limits of the sensor. You can then apply the normalized counts/ml value reported by the particle counter to the entire flow stream.
