Particle Measuring Systems' Mark Hallworth Wins Prestigious IEST Award (Press Release)

The of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) recognized the technical achievements of its members and supporters at the annual awards recognition and annual membership meeting during ESTECH 2006, the 52nd annual technical meeting and exposition of IEST. Particle Measuring Systems' Mark Hallworth received the James R. Mildon Award.

This award is presented for "significant contributions to the advancement and increase of knowledge in the field of contamination control and/or to the awareness and effectiveness of contamination control activity in professional societies." Mark Hallworth's citation read, " Awarded to Mark Hallworth for his published papers contamination monitoring and control, his support of PDA and ISPE, and, through worldwide lectures, his advancement of the knowledge of pharmaceutical aseptic monitoring techniques."

Mark Hallworth is the Pharmaceutical Manager for Particle Measuring Systems and has been in the industry for 10 years. He has lectured for pharmaceutical societies throughout Europe, Asia, and the US on non-viable particle and facility monitoring and the implications of validating those systems.
