We are looking for a Customer Service Representative for our Boulder office to handle both domestic and international purchase requests in a fast-paced team environment.  The position is responsible for daily order entry and maintenance, as well as customer account data management.  

Responsibilities

  • Daily processing and maintenance of orders received via telephone, and a centralized electronic case system. Actions include: Data entry creating product demand, domestic and international shipping documentation generation, updating order dates, processing Letters of Credit as required, and completing export screens on all transactions in compliance with international export regulation.
  • Maintain communications with Particle Measuring Systems personnel, distributors, and direct customers on a global scale to ensure accurate processing. Actions include: Part number configurations, pricing, payment terms, credit card data collection, shipping instructions, and on time delivery.
  • Balance daily workload and assignments to ensure a timely processing and response to requests and complaints within company defined standards.
  • Participation on LEAN or process improvement projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years previous experience in customer service roll required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Strong problem solving skills founded in ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks with accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong computing skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with an ability to interact with various areas/levels within the organization.
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles and tools desired but not required.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards desired but not required.
