We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Representative to support the goals and objectives of PMS, acting as a key liaison between customers, distributors and service personnel and providing sales and service support as required.  This position has defined sets of Key Performance Indicators as well as individual performance measures that are used in evaluating continuous levels of improvement. Although this is an entry-level position there is opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain communications with PMS personnel, distributors and customers.
  • Process Service orders for Boulder and field service personnel. Prepare service estimates and contract invoicing for customers. Includes data entry to create demand, relieve inventory and produce invoices, packing lists and shipping documents, including airway bills, shipper’s letter of instruction, required certificates, labels, etc.
  • Respond promptly to incoming customer service 800 call lines and website requests to issue Work Orders to customers.
  • Provide active assistance in problem solving and process improvement opportunities.
  • Work with Accounting Dept. to facilitate payment terms and collection issues.
  • Complete Export Screening checklist and comply with all export regulations.
  • Maintain instrument serial numbers, customer accounts, and customer contact information in database.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree in business or related field desired; 2+ years’ experience working in an office environment.
  • Ability to convey a professional and positive image of PMS.
  • Excellent communication skills in person, electronically, and via phone.
  • Ability to foster internal and external relationships and deal effectively with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and desire to work at fast pace with a sense of urgency with accuracy, flexibility, and attention to detail.
  • Must have strong personal computing skills and proficiency MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. Must have the ability to learn new database, ERP and CRM programs.
  • Provide active assistance in problem solving and process improvement opportunities.
  • Previous manufacturing and customer service experience helpful.
  • Familiarity with ISO requirements and export documentation (such as processing Letters of Credit) experience helpful but not required.
