PROJECT MANAGER - Job Code - PM445

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and validate facility monitoring systems; responsible for managing all project deliverables within the required scope, schedule, and budget, and maintaining regular communication with all project stakeholders. As such, the Project Manager must protect the interests of Particle Measuring Systems while ensuring customer satisfaction. This requires a combination of strong technical (electrical and computer), communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Position Requirements

• Associates degree with minimum 5 years system installation experience or B.S. degree in a technical field with minimum 3 years system installation experience
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of validation project management experience
• Prior experience in ALL of the following areas:
  • Pharmaceutical industry project experience
  • Facility monitoring and automation project experience
  • SCADA or other automated control system experience; iFIX experience is a plus
  • PLC system installation, configuration and repair
  • Pharmaceutical equipment start-up and commissioning experience
  • Validation execution (IQ/OQ/PQ) experience
• Understanding and experience with all phases of systems installation, including, but not limited to: high and low voltage electrical circuits, process cabling and signals, networking, sensor and equipment mounting, vacuum system specification and installation, and system integration.
• Understanding and experience writing validation documentation, and execution of validation test protocols for life-sciences industries projects (pharmaceutical, biotech, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, extensive experience with direct customer contact & presentations.
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail; disciplined; energetic.
• Able to travel nationally and internationally up to 50% normally, and 75% at peak times. Travel destinations will typically include North, Central, and South America, plus Puerto Rico; however, occasional travel to locations in Africa, Europe Asia, and the Middle East may be required.
