Our Place or Yours For most locations in the US, you can choose the convenience of sending your instrument to our state-of-the-art service center at our headquarters in Boulder, Colorado or the convenience of scheduling a technician to come onsite. We provide the flexibility to find the best solution for you.
Calibration Services
Particle Measuring Systems uses NIST traceable standards in our calibrations. Calibrations are offered at our factory service center or at your own facility. All calibrations are completed in strict accordance with ISO guidelines. We also provide an unequalled counting efficiency test for first channel sensitivity. A NIST traceable Calibration Certificate is provided with each calibration.
Scheduled Calibration
Particle Measuring Systems now offers service work scheduling for our Boulder, CO facility. This program allows you to use your instrument up to a pre-arranged date prior to sending it to Boulder, CO for service. Turnaround time for annual calibrations is only one week when service work is scheduled at least four 4 weeks and up to 12 months in advance. Pharmaceutical Particle Counter Calibrations with Before/After Data
Calibrations are performed every 6 or 12 months for particle counters used in pharmaceutical applications. As an extension to a standard calibration, we offer an enhanced particle counter calibration service that provides as-received instrument data. To ensure that the particle counter remains stable throughout the period between calibrations, a full analysis of the as-received state is documented. A NIST traceable calibration is then completed meeting the current GMP and FDA requirements and a certificate is issued. This valuable service allows customers to analyze the deviation in instrumentation performance over an extended time period, ensuring product performance.
Expedited Service
At times it may be difficult for you to schedule the service of your most critical particle counters. Particle Measuring Systems understands your needs and offers business continuity and rapid service turnaround of these instruments in our Boulder Service facility. If approved by a service manager expedited service places the customer unit at the front of the service queue. Particle Measuring Systems will move an expedited unit to a technical bench and begin calibration or repair within 36 hours of receipt. The customer is provided a status update within 36 hours of receipt. Calibrations and most repairs will be completed within 84 business hours of receipt.
Calibration Contracts
Anticipate an instrument audit by purchasing a calibration contract. We will perform an annual calibration either at our factory service center or at your own site.
Extended Warranty Contracts
Purchasing an extended warranty contract fixes your costs and ensures that the maintenance of your critical microcontamination monitoring equipment does not exceed your budget constraints. The contract includes an annual calibration and all parts and labor. Service is performed at our factory service center or at your site.
